Deliriously happy. (I can't imagine being deliriously sad.) Happiness is what comes to mind.

Sar -- I immediately heard Prince and the Revolution singing "Delirious"...

"I get delirious whenever you're near..."

Maine already nailed it--Eddie Murphy, not quite Raw, but not yet Arsenio.

I immediately thought of Prince's song, too.

TLM - I thought you were a lobster, not a scarecrow.

TLP - Good point. Deliriously sad doesn't make any kind of sense.

AP3 - "Lose all self-control, baby just can’t steer, wheels get locked in place, stupid look on my face..."

Gabrielle - It's a classic. I'm pretty confident that hubby & I and Strider & Mrs. Strider can quote the whole routine, and we often do.

Actonbell - "...It comes 2 makin’ a pass, pretty mama I just can’t win a race, ’cuz I get delirious..."

TLM - sure, that's um what I meant.

Dead Guy - Of course, falling in love! Good one.
