'THE RIGHT BROTHERS' COME TO BUSH'S DEFENSE
The Right Brothers, a conservative music duo out of Nashville, has released a new song that does what needed to be done: it tells the TRUTH. Titled Bush Was Right, the song hits the listener with fact after fact after fact - but the tune is so catchy, and the music is so driving, you can't help but sing along.
with Bush's approval numbers at an all time low (hovering at around 40% last time i checked) I would imagine that these guys don't have as large a fan base as they did say a year or two ago but hey...you have to give them credit for trying.

after hearing the silliness that is the 'right brothers' you can also jump on their band wagon and help to get their video played on TRL to spread the "truth".
I think my favorite part of the song is when they do the whole shout back part...

I guess you can say they are raging FOR the machine.
I still prefer 'the idiot son of an asshole' by nofx.

Oh dear lord. A few thoughts...
I could just picture Bush bebopping along with Bush Was R*&%T (sorry, don't think it, can't say it, won't write it). Until he tried to sing along and choked on a pretzel or something.
The Right Brothers don't need to drum up votes for TRL. Why bother? I mean if they can rig a national election, I'm sure they can pull off TRL. ;)

The Right Brothers: Wrong. Not only that, but they sound young and healthy... why are they not in Iraq or Afghanistan, serving their masters?
yeah!....send them to iraq along with all the H2 drivers with support the troops bumper stickers on their SUV.

The song is pretty catchy, if you don't mind the fact that the "facts" they're talking about are only surface deep.
I mean "revenue is going up"? Yeah, because we got as far into debt as we've ever been in the nation's history. We don't really have anywhere else to go at this point.
"Osama's staying underground?" Sure, enough splinter groups are doing the terrorism for him that he can afford to stay down for a bit.
Then again, (and here's where I get all partisan up in this piece) Bush got elected because a lot of people just looked at surface issues anyway. "He's a cowboy." "He's against the terrorists!" (Who isn't?) "He's just a regular guy I can relate to! I'm voting him in!" But, of course, if you look a little further...
Strider I had the same favorite part. More than anything, it reminds me of Peter Tosh's Legalize It Obviously they were profoundly influenced.
