Boy, there are A LOT of birthdays being celebrated today! In addition to Bilbo, we also have my older daughter's godfather and TLP's hubby celebrating their birthdays today too.

So, in honor of the all dads, granddads, goddads, and a dude named Bilbo, celebrating their birthday today (or simply inspiring this original post) along with inspiration from TLP's comment, may we all remember...

Dad is great
Gives us chocolate cake!

give me my cake, wenches!
wait, do they call them wenches in middle earth?
I just assumed so, because they all talk with English accents in the movies..
They should talk like Cheech and Chong from now on.
That would rule.

TLM - Please tell me you're not joking so that I won't be the only one here who hasn't seen or read any of the Lord of The Rings stories.
*bracing myself for backlash*

Mike - Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the term "wenches" doesn't fly any better in the middle of the earth than it does here. But what do I know.

Actonbell - Aw, what a cute visual! For those not keeping up, Papa Pez is TLP's hubby who's celebrating his birthday today, and Actonbell is their daughter.

Hey, I think I've got the whole Pez family connection down pat now! *patting myself on the back* I aspire to be an honorary Pez one day. They're awesome.
