WHAT'S IN A NAME

And in other not so news, P. Diddy has announced that he's changing his name. Again.

"We're entering the age of 'Diddy. A lot of my peeps in music been calling me Diddy, so it's not a drastic change for them. But people around the world didn't know what to call me. . . . We gonna stop the confusion."

Noooo, really? People around the world didn't know what to call Mr. Sean, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, Combs!

I saw that on The Daily Show. I feel a lot better now.

I love the fact that he thinks enough people still care about him at all, let alone that we're so paralyzed with indecision over what to call him that we needed a press conference to put us at ease.

I say we just change his name to Dip Shitty.

Hmm... So, does this mean he's gonna stop designing ugly clothes, and fathering thousands of children which he will refuse to support?

Somehow, I doubt it. Probably just a simple change of name.

Diddy? Well, "Did He" go kill all those people that didn't vote in the last election?

Doug, we all do our homework to keep up, with Daily Show being extra credit of course!

KB - I was thinking Dim Witty.

TLM - In between wearing oodles of bling and walking with someone carrying an umbrella for him at the beach. And why exactly does he need that?

Maine - Clever! My hope is he "Diddy Not"! But it is a good question. After the election he just dropped of the political radar. Had to get back to that awaiting umbrella or something.

From now on, ya'll can just call me Woodsy. It's been confusing that all my peeps in the blogosphere keep getting all confused about calling me C. Widdy or Chrissy W. or whatever. So, from now on, its just Woodsy. Oh, and I have my own line of clothing, too. But it's much cooler than Diddy's.

'Diddy, eh? My next guess was that his new name would just be somebody else's name with a beat behind it.

Yo Woodsy - sup dog?
(I'm even worse than Randy Jackson at this - and that's bad!)

Gabriel - Since Paris is abounding in name popularity, and wanting to retain some sense of familiarity, I see him choosing something like Philly. Adding the beat before hand as you suggested gives us

Digadum Philly

(man, please, won't someone just stop me already!)
