"A statesman gains little by the arbitrary exercise of ironclad authority upon all occasions that offer, for this wounds the just pride of his subordinates, and thus tends to undermine his strength. A little concession, now and then, where it can do no harm is the wiser policy." - MARK TWAIN

Is that on the streets of NY by any chance because I am heading there now and don't want to step on it. Not that I wouldn't enjoy squishing even the facsimile into the ground but I like my shoes and doing it barefoot is not an option.
I like it here because of the tendancy to tell it like it is.
So, in February I'm in Leipzig, right? And GWB was coming to Mainz because he and I have the same number of fans in Germany. When I checked out of the hotel, the girl at the desk asked me if I was going to see my President and I told her I wouldn't because the Germans would be protesting and I disagreed with them about Bush. She looked sad until I explained the protestors would all be yelling "Go Home!" and I wanted him to stay.
Alice - Never mind stepping in it, we've all been wallowing in it for the last 5 years. Have a safe trip back to the city. And I hope by "here" you mean Sound Destruction!
Doug - Your snarkiness knows no international boundaries. You rock.
Araider - tell us how you really feel. ;)
Thanks, Sar but I'm a little stunned that I keep getting called snarky in the blogosphere. This is where people go to be snarky. I'm flattered.
Doug - and you thought you weren't cool. ;)
Honestly, tell me five things/issues/decisions/policies etc. you LIKE about George Bush.
Anonymous - you'll have to give me some time to think about that one. I'll get back to you. In the meantime, what are 5 things/issues/decisions/policies etc. YOU like about Bush? I'm always willing to listen.
