CALL OUT TODAY!

ever need to call out of work but need to make it very convincing?

help is on the way.

here is a site that provides background noises to further convince your boss you truly can not make it to work.

maybe I will use it today...

if someone figures out how to use the jungle one I will be impressed.

name this movie:
"ahh, I'm going to have to go ahead and ask you to come in on sunday, too..."
difficulty: easy

As resident "hostess with the mostess", I would be remiss in my duties if I offered the title before one of our readers (even though it's so easy!) I wonder who'll be first with it and how many more quotes we'll see...

Not right now Lumbergh, I'm kinda busy. You know what, in fact I'm gonna have to ask you to just go ahead and come back later, I've got a meeting with the Bobs in a couple minutes.

Only three or four times. I patterned my management technique on the boss.

Oooh, I didn't catch you were looking for more quotes. My favorites:

"Well, it becomes ours"

and

"Watch out for the cornhole"

Oh, how I love Office Space.

Some of my favorite quotes:
*"I'm thinking about taking that new chick from Logistics. If things go right I might be showing her my O-face. You know: Oh. Oh."

*"PC Load Letter"? What the fuck does that mean?

*Hey Peter, man, check out channel 9, it's the breast exams.

*Sounds like somebody's got a case of the mondays.

I once punched a friend in the arm for saying that on an early Monday morning on the way to class.

Oh, and the site would've been great if I had known about it on Wednesday...when I actually did call in with a lame excuse.

Most definitely.

Which reminds me...one of my favorite rap/hip-hop songs is Warren G's "Regulate." Anyone else love that song?

Sorry Chris, but the thought of you listening to Rap Hip-Hop just cracked me up! Whew, that was a good one. ; )

In all seriousness, I don't listen to much of it. But if anything, its the old stuff that's the best.

And being a frat boy, I get to hear lots of good hip-hop, new and old.

(And yes, I realize that fraternity realated activities may spell doom to my future aspirations, but what the hell? Gotta live life while ya can!)

Holy crap, those phone noises are a brilliant idea.

It reminds me of this service that at least one company in Australia (or UK) is offering. In order to prevent 'drunk dialing,' you give the company certain names/numbers from your cell phone before you go out drinking. The phone company then blocks any attempt you make to dial those #'s for the entire evening. Perfect for ex's or anyone else you shouldn't be talking to after a few drinks.
